5 Workouts That Can Be Done On The Go (and don’t require any equipment)

One of the most commonly used excuses? “I was on the road with nowhere to work out and no equipment to use!”
Since the holidays are approaching fast, and you’ll likely be headed out of town at some point in the next few months, here are a few workouts you can try. None of these require equipment (so no excuses), and all of them can be finished in 30 minutes or less (and that even includes a warmup).
  • STOP AND GO
    12 minute running clock – run as far as possible
    On each odd minute, stop and do 15 squats
    On each even minute, stop and do 10 pushups
  • LUNGE IT OUT
    400m of Lunges
    Every time you have to stop and rest, do 5 burpees
    (Cut this to 200m for the beginner)
  • BODY WEIGHT CIRCUIT
    Start a clock, and get as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of the following circuit:
    10 Pushups
    20 Situps
    30 Squats
  • JUMPING FOR JOY
    Complete 5 Rounds as fast as possible:
    10 Burpees
    15 V-Ups
    20 Squat Jumps
  • ROCK SOLID
    1 Mile Run, then straight into the following circuit
    4 Rounds:
    :30 second archbody hold
    :30 second Mountain Climbers
    :30 second Plank Hold
    :30 second Bear Crawl
